Was a Director of Forces Online CIC and a good friend of our Founder Len. Sadly some years ago, Tom passed away in London following a day of Forces Online meetings with Len, and to remember Tom who served in the REME and later a prolific charity worker, Forces Online CIO have started a restricted fund Called the Tom Howat Memorial Hardship Fund to raise money for Veteran's with substantial Hardship Issues. All the money raised through this fund will go towards this cause.

No 1188955) that has been set up for "The Relief of Former Armed Forces Service Personnel, who are in need by reason of age, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage in particular but not exclusively by providing them with help and assistance and by offering them a sign posting service to expert support providers for their benefit", and uses this money to cover the operating costs of the Charity, website, hub, etc. to keep the service running.
